My Professional Experiences

 i) 1988-1995 : Institute of Respiratory Medicine, Kuala Lumpur (KL) as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) (Medical Microbiology)  -  7.5 years

ii) 1995-2000: Institute for Medical Research (IMR), KL as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (Laboratory Management, Molecular Parasitology & Entomology - worked under Prof Mak Joon Wah (presently with IMU) &  Dr. Patricia Lim Kim Chooi (now with MBDr) Molecular Pathology -  led by Dr Alan Khoo) - 5 years

iii) 2000-2001: Studying full-time in UNISEL, Shah Alam - fully sponsored by the government (Student Representative Committee) - 1 year

iv) 2001-2002: IMR, KL as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (Laboratory Animal Science & Herbal Medicine - supervised by Dr Noor Rain Abdullah)           - 1 year

v) 2002-2007: College of Medical Laboratory Technology, IMR KL as a Tutor (Immunohematology,  Basic Biochemistry - subject head, Molecular Biology, Chemical Store Management & Procurement, Computer Laboratory Committee - secretary (2004), College Library Committee & Batch 18 Trainee Coordinator) - 4.5 years

vi) 2007: Training Division, MoH, KL as an Assistant Secretary (Curriculum Development-Medical Laboratory Technology:1st May-30th Nov ). Until 15th June 2008 : Examination and Certification - Medical Laboratory Technology.  - 1 year
